2024 Farm Share

Eat like a farmer.

Our 2024 farm share is a simple way to ensure that your family is eating the freshest seasonal vegetables around. We welcome you to the farm each week on your own schedule to pick up your share and relax in the beauty of our land.

Our 2024 Farm Share season is 24 weeks, from the week of May 27 through the week of November 4. During this time, we will harvest produce from the farm and sort it into shares to be picked up on the farm and other pickup locations.

Farm share contents.

You will receive a wide variety of vegetables throughout the season. We grow staple crops and specialty products, and source a few crops from other local farms. Additionally, members may cut fresh flowers and herbs from the self-serve garden at the farm.

Don’t like onions? Can’t handle any more eggplant this year? Trade out your no-thank-you’s for other vegetables from our stocked trade box.

Choose your frequency.

Our farm share consists of generous portions of 5-7 different crops per week. This is enough for a medium household to have a vegetable dish most nights of the week. You will choose to pick up a share weekly or every other week.

The weekly Farm Share cost is $725, and the biweekly share costs $375.

How we grow.

We are committed to being transparent about our growing and animal husbandry practices and will happily answer any questions you have. We practice environmentally friendly and sustainable farming and believe that everyone has a right to know how their food is produced. An overview of our growing practices is detailed in our member agreement here.

Pickup on your schedule.

Choose to pick up your share on the farm or at one of our partnering pickup locations around the Baltimore area. View our member agreement for a list of pickup times and partner locations.

Shares are harvested multiple times per week, allowing for a flexible pickup schedule. Pickup anytime on your schedule from Kitchen Girl Farm. Farm stand is open 24/7 on honor system.

Your share will be packed with as little single-use packaging as possible in a paper grocery bag.

Give back.

Bring your biodegradable kitchen waste back to the farm for us to make into compost to feed our soil.

Farm stand.

Can’t get enough farm goodies? Eggs, yarn, honey, and other farm products are available for purchase at our self-serve farm stand when you pick up your share.

Self-serve garden.

Help yourself to complementary fresh herbs, cut flowers, and extra veggies straight from the garden to spice up your meal plan for the week.

Clear your head.

Our farm is gorgeous, and we want to share that with you. Plan in a little extra time to hang out with the animals, take a walk through the fields, or sit quietly in the forest.
